The Other Side of Every Fear is Freedom
Just a couple days ago our family was exploring the Badlands of South Dakota. I watched from afar as our children climbed up and down the beautiful rock formations. I teared up as I watched our oldest summit one of the tallest, throw her arms up, and shout; “I did it!” I took note that at that one moment lost in the Badlands…she…me…we…were wonderfully free. Free of illness, worry and responsibility. Even if just for one moment. A much-needed reminder that on the other side of every fear is freedom. I smiled and kept walking. My family continued to climb.
