I wish I could say I was good at “this”. “This” meaning parenting a child with a mental illness.

I wish I knew how to help my daughter. But, 18 months later, I still do not always know how.

Others who struggle reach out to me for advice and guidance. Sadly, even after working with more providers than I care to count, I still do not know how to advise them.

My daughter needs me. Often, I still do not know how to be there for her, despite I am the one she calls for.

I am often exhausted. But I still do not give up.

I do not always know, but I am confident I will never give up on my daughter.
